To me it tastes like celery and white radishes. Smoothie recipes are beyond the scope and use is very dependent on the individual biochemistry , food history allergies and so on. I suggest reading some of dr. Gundry's works before figuring on adopting a recipe into a diet for more than a month. This could be a great ingredient for a salad dressing thus avoiding sugars.
