This is what an attorney friend uses in his law practice to keep up with all the pleadings that need to be filed, and said in 30 years of practice he has never missed a single filing! He much prefers using these to keeping his due dates on a digital calendar because of the times his computer has been down! He combines three sets of Oxford 1-31 with ONE set of January-December (the current month is always the first divider you see, followed by the following two months) with the 1-31 between those first three months. He has slightly smaller papers sheets printed up (in packs of 50) on which to write what is due, then tears each one off and inserts them a day or two before the action due is needed. I use the system, too, and it's super easy. You'll never miss anything you need to do.

Bought these for my hotel, we use them to divide the key packets for all our guests which is usually 50-75 arrivals per day. So that means we are flipping these dividers 100-150 times, every day. (Putting new keys in, and then removing them upon arrival) we have gone through many of the non laminated ones in the past. These are a MUST for anyone using these frequently. The colors and large bold letters make them all the more handy and well worth the money.Tip: works perfectly with the ADVANTUS index card holder.

I keep to-do lists. In fact, they sometimes threaten to take over my life, and NOT in a helpful way.So, I recently went back to my most successful, "old school" method of organizing, using the S.H.E. method. (Described in Sidetracked Home Executives: From Pigpen to Paradise ) It worked brilliantly when my kids were little. Now, it's time to get back to that kind of routine.But... today's 3x5 index cards tend to be cheap and thin. (I ordered the heavyweight ones from Amazon, Oxford Heavy Weight Index Cards, 3" x 5", Ruled, White, 100/Pack (63500) )And, finding good, heavy index card dividers was nearly impossible. Our local office supply stores (like Staples) and the office section of Target just didn't stock them.So, I ordered these at Amazon, and they arrived quickly. The price seemed a little high, but for sturdy dividers, it's worth it. I'm setting up my card file right now, and I know this will keep me better organized with far less effort, and fewer (or at least shorter) to-do lists.

Great product, replaced old ones made of plan card material that were bent so badly I could not find what I was looking for, These are awesome, they are made of thick cards with Large easy to read Plastic coated alphabetical letters, Highly recommended!!!!!! found on amazon prime, but you can find these and other great products on Oxford's web site, I can not figure out how to insert a link, I just put index card alpha tabs in amazon web site & found them hope this was helpful :)

These dividers are well made and sturdy, and I like the 5 tab separation (instead of 3). They fit just perfectly in my card file boxes and stand high enough over the index cards to be easily read. The bright colors are such a change from my very old (we are talking 40+ years!), dog-eared set that was manilla colored. It would never have imagined it would prove to be such a chore to find quality index cards, however I could not find any like these locally. Once again, I am so thankful for Amazon!

Exactly as described I did not pay attention to the size and ordered the wrong one I wanted 4x6 not 3x5 ...lol my mistake . I DID ORDER THE CORRECT SIZE RIGHT AWAY. THESE ARE OF GREAT QUALITY AND I WILL BUY FROM AGAIN
