This was really easy to pair with my LG TV.

Several days ago my LG OLED TV quit working. I mean out of the blue..... Wasn't expecting this at all. The LG Magic Remote power button turned into a glowing red light. Nothing would work. I could not figure out if it was the TV, the remote, or what? Well, I speculated it was the remote since other TVs in the house were working. Fortunately, I was correct. I IMMEDIATELY jumped on the computer and ordered this AFTERMARKET LG Remote from Amazon. I did not notice it was an aftermarket remote. LOL. Then I started reading the reviews: Some said the remote works wonderfully, others that it does not work at all. My heart sank. I used $7.00 worth of Amazon points, and knowing if it did not work I would have to return it and LOSE those $7.00. Well, I just got home, looked in my mailbox, and there it was. If it did not work, I was prepared for a verbal lashing from my wife. I ran in the house, put new batteries in it. Pushed the power button and VOILA!!! It worked!!! Worked like a charm! Message appeared on the screen that they were registering my new remote. I am ecstatic!!! A happy camper needless to say. Thank you Amazon. I have been watching TV on my phone, my MacBook, etc. Now I can finally watch TV on my main living room TV. A+ to this wonderful aftermarket remote.
