Another great Buffalo puzzle
One of the best puzzles I’ve done! Contrasting colors and multiple borders within the puzzle made it fun.

Love the puzzle, but not the glued-shut box.
Love the picture. It was very enjoyable to put together! Buffalo has some of the very best cat and dog puzzles. This was my first one and I've got another one on order. 5+ stars for that, however, there are a few things regarding quality of material and process that could be better: 1) There are a few pieces where the top layers of paper, upon opening, are already loose, 2) I'm not keen at all in having to use a knife to open the box - the box top came glued on all four side to the bottom. I don't know how the box can be opened without some degree of tearing, and 3) There were a few times when pieces easily fit together that didn't go together. Despite these matters of quality (the first two being my prime concern) the picture is very clear, super engaging, and beautiful to look at when complete. So I've decided that my top deciding factor is indeed the picture, and am awaiting my next Buffalo puzzle delivery. Meanwhile, if you're looking for another beautiful and enjoyable cat puzzle, that is super high in quality and doesn't involve damaging the box to open it, then I also recommend a puzzle by Trefl called "Cat Family".Update 3/23/24:I've bought two more Buffalo cat puzzles since Kitten Distraction, and although I love the pictures, the boxes with their glued-shut sides continue to disappoint. Per the manufacturer’s recommendation, I’ve tried opening them with a variety of tools and, as you can see from the photos, all three boxes are torn on all 4 sides - to one degree or another. With the first one, Kitten Distraction, I used the edge of a scissors. That worked best of all. With the second one, Quarantine Cats, I used a serrated dinner knife. That didn't work quite as well over all. Today I opened the third one, Beachcombers, ever so carefully with a sharp paring knife. As you'll see in the photo, that's the one that created the most damage on one side. Ugh. So sad to make a mess of these otherwise beautiful boxes. I did post a question and also called the manufacturer about this - before opening the second two boxes - and it's my understanding that we're supposed to be able to open the boxes without tearing them. Really? I would love for the manufacturer, or anyone opening these boxes successfully, to post a video showing how to do this well. Many thanks to anyone who does post a video!Update 5/25/25:Turns out I did a video clip after trying a new approach to opening my 4th Buffalo Games puzzle. It's posted with my review of their puzzle named: Racing The Train... another gorgeous puzzle!
