What can I say it’s brilliant for appliqué, I use it when I’m using glue, or painting small craft items washes easily.

It’s a must have really for fusing , saves your iron and fabric from the glue . Good size .

I do a lot of appliqué and thought I’d mastered the art of doing it accurately, safely and easily. I then saw a demo of someone using the appliqué mat which addressed some of the difficulties I had ie not being able to see where my small pieces of fabric were before I fused them into place. So I purchased this set and it’s great. The top mat is see through so I can check everything is where it should be and nothing sticks to either mat, making the whole process quicker. I would suggest that you still work on top of a heat resistant surface as heat from the iron is transferred but all in all it’s a great useful purchase

This set has saved my ironing board a few times - nothing sticks to it! The top sheet is handy for those fabrics that develop a shine when ironed too.
