Bandai Hobby BAN212964# 03 IB Full Mechanics 1/100 Barbatos Lupus Rex Gundam IBO Model Kit

I have only built MGs before, so I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was that I wanted to stick with the 1/100 scale, and didn't feel like waiting any more to see if a MG Barbatos would come. So I finally bit the bullet, and my only regret was that I didn't do it sooner! The Full Mechanics line is fantastic! The detail is really impressive, the figure is very sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy at all (especially compared to some of my ver ka's), and it looks perfectly fine straight build.But there are a couple issues with the kit. The mace is massive and way to heavy for the figure to hold it up in any sort of attacking pose, which has upset alot of people in the gunpla community. But this doesn't really bother me because the kit still looks great without holding the mace up. The second issue is the nails. They do come moulded in grey, and all the pictures you see of them in yellow are painted. Again this doesn't bother me as this is an easy enough fix, and the kit holds tons of details in other places to make up for it.I didn't bother with the stickers, as I'm going to paint it.In summation, the Full Mechanics line has really impressed me, and I didn't notice any drop-off in quality from the MG line. Hopefully there's more to come *cough*cough*gusion full city*cough*

Great product, it arrived in perfect condition, mind you it was a long trip, the seller wrapped the package in a very nice way and because of the that no harm came to it. The seller Mr/s. Takuya even included a personalised message and a Tekkadan Origami (Symbol of the Gundams Unit), and overall great custumer service.As for the Gundam it is awesome probably the most badass looking Gundam ever, the articulations are solid and it just looks great, only drawback is that it cant seem to hold the weapon (Big Mace) without falling, but it does come with a extra stand for the mace and its poses all look great.All of the pieces were present and its overral a great Gundam model kit.

I really recommend the entire IBO 1/100 range to any fan of building gundam models.There's so much great detail on this. You build the inner frame with all its details then assemble the armour around it.Slowly collecting them all.

I'm not a massive fan of the IBO full mechanics kits. There's nothing really wrong with them they are just not my cup of tea. The kit however is a popular kit and a popular suit from a great show. The price is low so I thought I would add him to the collection. The kit itself if pretty solid. The arm joint are not strong enough to hold the massive weapon but I already knew about this going into the project and was ok with the stand provided for the weapon.The frame and kit snaps together very well and that the colour serperation is good compared to other models of the Barbatos and as a result there are a lot less stickers for essential parts.Possibility is hindered a bit by the bulky and jagged leg and arm armour in this suit however other than that it's a fun build and I'm happy with the finished product. I've only added a little paint and haven't even panel lined it or top coated it and it looks just fine.Definite recommendation as a fun cheap popular kit.

This kit was an absolute joy to build and looks amazing! A gundam marker is a must for a kit like this to really make it shine so I highly recommend on spending some extra time and money on this kit to give it that extra wow factor!!

This was bought for my husband to add to his gunpla collection, its great in detail and well constructed, fantastic quality!
