Do you guys recommend this for someone weighing 250lbs? What would you recommend instead ?

Hi there, Thank you for the question. This really does depend on what you are going to use the board for, and whether or not you are a beginner or more advanced rider. The best advice we can give is not to ride a skimboard that is below the middle of your stomach. That being when you are standing up next to the board, the top of the board from the ground up reaches your chest height. We hope that helps. My nephew is 6 ft tall and 150 lbs, but never been on a skim board, would this work for him?

Yes! This is a perfect beginner skimboard. I’m 6’2 and 185 lbs and it’s great! I’ve had other boards before this one but this has lasted the longest by far. Hope this helps

Is the bag durable enough to protect the board from damage during plane travel as checked luggage?

It is a very simple and standard fabric caliber bag. In fact, one of the zippers bent during a flight. It is not a tough g-shock bag, it is a convenient plain means to carry the board, which is also a fine standard board that shoul last 1or 2 summers at the most (see my previous post from 1 or 2 y before)

Hi there, We have recommended weight limits on the listing, but generally it depends on what you are going to use the board for.
