MKJ39170828 Replacement Service Remote Control fit for LG LCD LED TV

I purchased a used item but the packing was minimal, nay, inexistant. No batteries either. The remote works tho so there’s that.

I used this remote to turn off TPC option, it fixed the auto dimming issues I was having with the TV. I pressed the 'in start' button entered the pin: 0413 when prompted then scrolled to the 'OLED' tab and turned the TPC option to off. I was having a issue where the screen would slowly dim while left on a static image after a minute or two. This was a problem especially when playing games when you spend time in menu's or when reading documents in game. Turning this option off probably isn't great for the screens life span but it solved the problem I had with dimming.

Fixed my TV (LG A1 OLED) so I can use it with my computer without it dimming the screen constantly. But it's expensive for what it does. Much nicer than using the Magic Remote as well.

My stepdad was in hospital and the LG tvs had the hdmi ports disabled through Commercial Mode. That meant he couldn’t use a chromecast or other device to watch stuff while he was literally stuck in bed with nothing else to do.Overriding the settings and enabling the HDMI ports with this was a snap, and was exactly what I bought it for.

Not much to say. I bought it for one reason, to enter the special OLED service menu of my LG CX television. It worked.
