These stakes would have you believe they are Made in USA from the name, but they are NOT!!! Both boxes I received are clearly marked "Made in China" bought in Summer 2022!!!

They are called "Tent stake toppers" i believe.

How well do these work in sand?

For sand you want the big thick plastic stakes as those have more surface area to create friction with the sand. These will just pull out of sand and offer zero resistance to it. These are for hard surfaces where the thicker stakes would be impossible to hammer into the ground.
