Quality Black Beans
There are many brands of black beans but quality is important because you are eating beans instead of white rice which may not be healthy for diabetes. So, for that reason the beans I choose better be high in quality to get the most of it.

fresh and tasty
I absolutely love these Organic Black Turtle Beans! They're a staple in my pantry now. The fact that they're non-GMO, sproutable, vegan, and kosher is a huge plus. They're not only versatile but also a fantastic source of plant-based protein and fiber. I've used them in bean soups, humus , salads, and chili, and they always add a rich, hearty flavor to my dishes. The 5-pound bulk packaging is convenient $$$$ and ensures I always have these delicious beans on hand. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality, nutritious beans for their meals.

Taste bad and remain hard after hours cooking
These beans taste bad and they remain hard no matter how long they cook for. I cooked mines for 4 hours one day, and I cooked them for an additional 2 hours the next day because they still felt and tasted raw and they were still exactly the same, (hard and nasty) after those two additional hours.I bought a different brand (only cooked for 2 hours) and did not have this issue. I wonder if these beans are organic or even real beans.

Bought for a friend
My friend was so thrilled to have these. She lives in a very small town and their grocery store doesn't sell these. She was so delighted to receive them delivered straight to her door!

Infested with tiny black bugs
Whenever I soak my beans, I see tiny little black critters (aphids?) trying to swim their way out of the pot. Does anyone have suggestions how to store black beans organically so these critters die/do not develop? Obviously the seller doesn't know.

10#s of beans, hmmm
How can you go wrong with 10#s of black beans? I'm a black bean brownie junkie, not that I need 10#'s of beans to make brownies but if you need to they can be used for other recipes also, I guess. But seriously this is a great price on organic and with 10#'s the bag last a while. Being a barging bottom line shopper I end up with a lot of bulk iteams. The price was so good I couldn't afford not to purchase them.
