Yes you could is space between the vile and the cap that you can fit a tiny or skinny yarn although if you getting dna you might want to be extra careful cuz some caps don’t tight on the vile and you could lose it product

Q: Would this be good for adding sanitizer for carrying in your pocket.

It only hold 2 ml you need to get little big one or just get sanitizer bottles of one oz or half oz bottle so you don’t have to pack all those viles I wouldn’t use them for sanitizer pocket

It is only about 1 inch long and not wide so it would be possible to carry in your pocket. but I would not recommend this as it may come open due to friction and motion.
