Q: Does this bread maker have a brushless motor? I just bought a breadmaker from a different brand, and it smells like ozone when the motor is running...

Our bread maker is an 850W brushless motor and we offer two years of warranty.

Q: Is the pan dishwasher friendly?

No. We do not recommend putting into the dishwasher. It can damage the parts and coating.

Q: will this make a 1 lb loaf of bread?

This bread maker is designed with 2 or 3 lb recipes in mind. If you have a 1 lb recipe, I don't see why it wouldn't work; however it will likely be oddly proportioned and the crust might get a bit crispy, as the programs available are only for 2-3 lbs, so it might bake it for longer than wanted.
