Since there’s much more good news, I’ll start with the bad news and get that out of the way. The bad news is the directions steer often in tiny print so you’ll need a magnifying glass to read them. Also, when you mix the 2 processing bottles, the smell is horrible. Dead fish comes to mind. There is no mixing bowl so you’d need to provide your own, which is understandable. I used a plastic bowl and discarded it when done.The good news is this product is rather easy to use and will produce fantastic results. I started using it years ago because they made a children’s formula. I’m not a child nor am I African American, but I needed something mild because I have fine hair which is naturally wavvy especially in humidity. Think frizz. I didn’t see a child’s formula so I risked using an adult one. I left it on for no more than 6 minutes for the application and 5 minutes comb through. It came out totally relaxed and extremely soft. It also had a nice shine. The smell disappeared after all was said and done. There is more than enough product in the box to do your entire head, so all things considered for $6.95 it was a win win all around!

I use this brand all the time for straightening my hair, and wanted to try it with the black dye. Well it was okay, but seeing the black dye so powerful, made me nervous it might not come out on my skin, so although I left it on as stated, it came out pretty good having a one step process. No more waiting in between straightening then dying later.

Wait I actually really liked this! I usually get the bigger boxes of these but when I got it I notice it was just a root touch up and that’s all I needed for my head! My relaxer came out really slim and nice. Will be purchasing again!

I looked at review photos and didn't realize there was no container to mix. Now I open the box and it indeed does not include a container to mix! On the label it says container not included.They really expect us to mix chemicals in our own bowls that we eat out of? Or buy a container just for this? Very inconvenient and I would not have purchased this if I knew that.

Finally! A relaxer that is good for African American hair. I love it.
