Q: Is this bigger than the Rubicon?

The Rubicon is bigger. The Hawg is basically the "largest of the small packs." Going up from the Hawg, you get the Rubicon, then the Motherlode, then the BFM, and finally the Rubicon.

Q: Can this have the straps removed or tucked away and mount directly to molle?

No, they cannot. The bag is meant to be standalone.

Q: whats the difference between this and the antidote?

I believe the flow rate is the only difference, the newer model has a higher flow rate. It should be listed on the Camelbak website

Yes, I believe it is BPA free per the Camelbak website. The pack is great, just the right size, very durable.

Functional but could be better

good for rehydration, not good for carrying anything rigid or heavy. The interior has compartments but no rigidity so everything just ends up in a mess at the bottom of the daysack. Should be a lot better for the amount of money you have to shell out.
