Amazon has poor quality control

Poor QC unit has clear silicone around it that is what they consider a fire resistant seal. I have approximately 30 minutes test time on this unit and it is already squealing

Company refused to allow me to order the proper alternator from them

Accidentally ordered this one by suggestion, but it does not fit the 2.3 OMC... not most of the OMC's for that matter, imediatly contacted the company, and all they would say is "Speak with returns on Monday" well returns wouldn't say anything on the following monday and they still shipped the wrong alt, stay away from DB Electrical, their customer service is astonishingly bad. Went with an alternator from another seller (rarelectrical) much better and direct fit.

Only lasted 2 years..get what you pay for!

Lasted for all of about 40 hours on my Chrysler Marine 318. Cheap Chinese junk is my guess. The price was right and I gambled. Now I have to climb in my engine compartment again!! :( JUNK>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
