I have a dog (Tango) and two cats (Toccata and Toothless) that share the same water bowl. Finding a product like this that is written as safe for both was a hardship (most say "only for dogs" or "only for cats"). The dog had dental issues prior to rescuing me, so I want anything I can get to help his dental health. And Toothless (despite having all of his teeth) has the nastiest breath ever!All of the animals drink the water with the product in it - so they clearly don't have any issues with smell or taste. And, even though I don't use it as regularly as I could, Toothless' breath is sooooo much better now. I don't see much difference with the dog, but his problem wasn't about breath anyway.I've already bought more bottles!

Works when I can get my dog to drink the water with it inside. He knows everytime that it’s in there and refuses to drink the water with it inside. There is once in a blue moon he will drink it.

(DO NOT BUY! Leaving a 5 star review so people see it)I have bought this product about 3 yrs ago and had no issues. However I recently brought it again and noticed the drastic decrease in quality.This not only doesn’t work but some of the reviews were in fact right and it made my dogs sick! At first I thought maybe people were giving the wrong doses, not changing the water often/leaving this in for too long, or not stirring the water after adding this (dental water tends to sit at the bottom of the bowl if you don’t stir, which can expose ur pet to a toxic concentrated amount of it). I’ve done everything right and for some reason my dogs have had belly aches and diarrhea. I know for a fact it has nothing to do with disrupting their diet since my dogs are pretty accustomed to different dental brands and treats by now with no issues. This was the only brand that made them sick. I have a chihuahua and an American staffie, and despite their significant age and weight differences, (chihuahua is 14 years old and 5-10 pounds, staffie is 50-60lbs and only 5) neither of them have reacted positively to this product no matter what I did. I think somewhere someone mentioned ineffective bottles, and I think that’s just what happened. Either way, I would never recommend this product to anyone when the company knowingly sends out bad batches which shows a clear neglect towards animal wellness. Why give a company like this any of your time and money when they’re willing to gamble your pet’s life? Going back to VOC approved products only. They’re more expensive but it’s not worth the health risk for your fur babies!P.S. my babies quickly recovered within a day after cleaning their bowls thoroughly, and going back to good ole additive free water.

It's amazing! A month ago, my golden retriever's teeth were very yellow, and there was plaque on every tooth. Its mouth smelled bad. No matter how I brushed it with a toothbrush, the plaque wouldn't come off! And it didn't obey! Then I bought a bottle of this to try. In just one month, its teeth became much whiter, the plaque gradually disappeared, and its mouth no longer smelled bad! I will continue to use this for my golden retriever!

I do not do many reviews but this product works I have 4 dogs 1 small and 3 large and the small dogs breath smelled terrible. After one day he had fresh breath and the other 3 large dogs also had improvement. I did use less than the label recommended but still this is something I would purchase again.

Fantastic product. Cats like the way the water tastes & wait for me to add. No order anymore from my cat's teeth and my dogs. It does remove the plaque over time takes a bit. But it does dissolve it, it also removes the plaque. That's built up on the what are dishes? No matter how hard I clean them, we have hard water here. And so that can grow bacteria, but this seems to kill the bacteria and Minerals lift from the ceramic bowls, which is awesome. I even tried it full strength in my own mouth, just to make sure my wards wouldn't have a problem with it. It doesn't even cause any tingling on the gums, oral membranes, etc. So glad I found it.
