Bought these to attach plastic taps to heels on dress shoes and boots. This is the perfect application for these. They did work well. I did not need 500 of them. But they didn’t sell a smaller package.One thing of note is that the head diameter varies from nail to nail and several I had to throw away because the point was not sharp or the head was completely missing. Quality control is lacking a bit. But finding good ones in a pack of 500 is pretty easy.

I only needed two small black nails, I received this package of nails that was filled with dirt, and I cleaned two of them by rinsing them off and they were not black.

Since the item's listing doesn't state it, my order including the small cellophane packaging weighed 3.5 ounces. The tacks are the correct 16 mm length. I received them ten days after placing the order.

In accurate description. Nails are all rusty and not black, not even rustic looking like the picture is advertising. The nails you will get you can get them elsewhere cheaper!
