I bought this bucket so I would not have to open my freezer several times a day just to get ice. The bucket replaces an unreliable ice in the door ice maker. Nice bucket. Good design. Very attractive. Looks good on my island. Does not sweat. Lid has a gasket which gives a tight fit. Mornings I dump 3 trays of ice in a gallon zip lock bag (keeps ice from flying all over the counter), put bag in ice bucket, and firmly press lid down to seal. I take ice from the bucket multiple times during the day. Firmly press lid down to seal each time. 12 hours after filling, I have water in the bucket but enough ice left to fill one glass. Awesome ice bucket. Love it!

This ice bucket holds the right amount of ice for small parties, and insulates well to keep the ice from melting for several hours. The statement that the lid is airtight is not true, it does not fit tightly enough for that. Wouldn't use it for travelling, but definitely works well on the kitchen counter.

The ice bucket was almost perfect. The bonus tongs are like a joke. You can only pick one ice cube every time, and you can't store the tongs inside the bucket. Get a small scoop. If only the bucket had a scoop holder.

It keeps a bunch of ice even until morning if you push the lid down all the way. It is a pleasure to use and I hope to have it for the rest of my life.

Filled with ice when I received it around 4PM in afternoon, to see how well it kept ice. Forgot about it that evening, and when checking it the afternoon on the next day, ice was still in it! Would highly recommend.

This is an attractive and sturdy ice bucket. Our first delivery came without the tongs. We notified Amazon and a new replacement package came the next day. Wow! That is great customer service!

Snug, attractive lid with handle and ice tongs. The smooth surfaces are very easy to clean and the ice does not melt at all. Marvelous Bucket.

Ten people easily served themselves ice. I thought the bucket looked small, but it holds the perfect amount ice for parties. There was a scratch where the handle hits the body when it arrived. Be extra careful eith the surface.
