Better Built 73210281 Tool Box

Item delivered was not as pictured. Otherwise it is a nice box. Welded nicely . Powercoated nicely. Top of box between handles could use some reinforcement as the aluminum is flexible enough to push the top part inward and defeat the locking mechanism. I'm keeping the box despite the shortcommings cause the price was less than others of the same style plus it fits my 2017 Tacoma nicely.

Put on my Truck

Item was not as pictured. Pictured is a Slim Line, LOW PROFILE tool box with pull handles. I receive a Slim Line, Standard Profile tool box with pedal style handles. The biggest difference in the two would be: with the pull handles, you can lock/unlock the toolbox from either side of the truck. With the pedal style handles, you can only unlock/lock from the driver's side of the box. IF you lock your box when you're not using it, you'd hate the pedal style handles. On a positive note, the tool box that was shipped (despite being the wrong type) was of nice quality. The packaging could have been a lot better, since the tool box was only wrapped in plastic, and set in a cardboard box. The box ends were crushed from the box being too long for the tool box inside. The box that was shipped WILL fit a Tacoma with 6 foot bed. IF you have a Double Cab, short bed (5 feet bed), you will need to order a tool box that has the bottom shaped into a V wedge, to clear the fender wells. I just didn't like the way the Standard Profile looks on 2016 and newer Tacomas, where the standard height tool box sits 4-6 inches above the bed rail, and blocks the rear sliding window.
