Strong nutcracker.
This will crack the Christmas nuts but it is not quite as shiny, bright and attractive as in the illustration.

Depends on shape of nut
It didn't like walnuts

Lacking a flat base
This would be perfect if it just had a flat base. I don't understand this weird design, it makes it tricky and a flat base would have made ALL the difference.

Brilliant
Very sturdy and very useful. I use this to crack the really hard shells of nuts then a standard nutcracker to break the shell apart.

King of nut crackers ๐ฐ
This stainless steel nutcracker is extremely capable of breaking the most stubborn of nuts.My last nut cracker broke trying to break an almond open.No such problems for this cracker. Twist down fine thread allowing a mass of force to pop the toughest of shells.Came in a box with a free tool to prize open the shell if you donโt want to crush the nut to much. This nutcracker will last for years to come.Very pleased ๐

Looks like it should work but.......
We only had Brazils and walnuts so all my comments are based on these. The inverted M6 bolt T-bar part can exert a huge amount of pressure and the whole device is very sturdy. There will be loads of these hanging around in drawers for years to come! It dealt with walnuts very easily but Brazils showed up its design fault. The T-bar screw has the head of the M6 bolt to split nuts. It turns relative to the lower crushing part, an M6 nut welded to the base. It was extremely difficult to stop the Brazils just skidding off the upper bolt head. If the end of the T-bar part was able to swivel and stay stationary on your nut then it might have a chance of splitting something like a Brazil. It's another device to have in your armoury of nutcrackers but it's not the silver bullet, unfortunately.
