Grapelet Scotch Lock/Snap Lock - Splice Connectors Electrical x 50 Blue

When I ordered these I knew they would be cheap imitations of the original and I was not disappointed in that preconception. But what the blurb doesn't tell you is that the 2 cable ports are different sizes. 1 is 3mm and the other is 4mm in diameter, therefore accomodating 2 sizes of cable. I found the blade had to be retracted slightly and the ports opened up with an apporpriate size drill to clear out the plastic flash that was left in the holes but otherwsie an adequate component. I bought mine for an external wiring addition to the car so I 3D printed a couple of small boxes which I will fill with hot melt glue to waterproof the installation.

Not as easy as original scotch lock but did the job harder to close than original

Does exactly as described l, a little tight but a good pair of grips work well

Very quick delivery, good value.Not as easy to use as genuine scotchlock, they don't push over the wire very easily. Have to open up slightly with a screw driver first. But they do work and of course they are cheaper than genuine ones

Saves a lot of soldering under railway layout
