I feel compelled to share my experience with this product. About three or four years ago, i began to suffer from an unexplained, painful inflammation in my feet, ankles, hands and wrists. I was tested for arthritis and those tests came back negative. I know part of the problem is carpal tunnel, but that’s a different story. So I came across information about this product and began taking it for this pain. After about a month, I had no more pain. The inflammation was pretty much gone. I took it faithfully for almost four months. I purchased in August, so this means I ran out sometime in December. I hadn’t reordered and it’s now a month later, MY PAIN IS BACK! With a vengeance. I couldn’t understand why my pain was back and getting increasingly worse. I am thinking to myself, what’s different? What am I doing different? A lightbulb went off over my head. It’s not something I’m doing different, it’s something I stopped doing, taking my green lipped mussel. I believe that i got so used to being pain free, that I forgot I was taking my remedy daily that was truly helping me. Because i didn’t think I had pain anymore, I didn’t reorder. I can’t wait to be pain free again. To all the naysayers, take it faithfully for at least a month before you decide. I ordered two bottles for me and two for my husband. The price is great and it works. This is a lifesaver.Added note: Yes it has a strong odor. It should because of what it actually is. Further, i believe the smell is attributed to the quality. It’s potent. That’s a good thing.I did take it in combination with daily turmeric. It’s a good combination.

I have to give this stuff five stars. Of course it is difficult to fully test or explain the outcomes of taking this stuff, but per the pain that I have experienced in my right-knee area since January 12, 2016, as far as I can tell, this stuff has alleviated 100% of pain and stiffness. I am 55 years old and have been active all my life in sports with karate, swimming, and weight training. I am fortunate to have very good knees but in January of 2016, I woke up with serious knee pain in my right-side knee. After talking to my doctor, it was a probable issue with a meniscus tear, so I began taking it easy and making sure I was stretching each morning and throughout the day and before hitting the gym and pool. I took time off from kicking the bag and any form of karate. in short, I bought two bottles of the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel 500 mg 60 Caps and after about one month, the pain began to slowly subside. Now two months later, the pressure in my right-side knee is completely gone also. And in fact, it feels as though I never had a problem in the first place. About two times a week I also take Nature's Way Alive! Multi-Vitamin Citrus Flavor Liquid after dinner and Trace Minerals Liquid Ionic Boron, 6mg, 2 oz. Both of these helped moderately but never long-term. The only thing that has helped me long-term and permanently is this lipped mussel supplement. I am very surprised with how well it has helped me also. Knowing that this is the main ingredient with a well-known but very expensive product being sold on t.v., I am glad that I found this version and I will be ordering again.31 July 2017, today I received my second order of two bottles. This stuff has relieved my knee pain to zero within the past month. Last Friday I did some karate training and kicked the bag at my gym for one full hour and I did not feel any residual pain the next day. I am working out more at the gym with leg presses and more swimming. Yesterday I mowed my neighbor's lawn and my lawn, about 7.5 miles of walking according to my phone app. Today there is zero pain or tightness. Any other product that I have taken helped with the pain, but it was short-lived. Nothing has worked as well as this product.12 Dec 2020. I ordered a new bottle for my "tennis elbow" like pain in my left elbow and within two weeks, the pain has subsided about 95%. Per my comments above, the pain never came back after I stopped using this product in 2017. As for my elbow pain, I think I hurt my left elbow after completing pull-ups at my gym, so the tendons were sore and over-stretched. I still have a little bit of pain but it is healing.20 April 2022: I just ordered another bottle tonight. This product really helps lesson the pain in my shoulders and legs. These days, I take one pill with one Omega 3-6-9 pill. I do not take these daily, but about 3 times per week. I still highly recommend this product.

For the price, these are a great deal. These claim to have the same New Zealand mussel oil that's used in the infomercials for the OmegaXL. If so, even better, however, those XLs are smaller (less potent content too), and are clear and tiny. These, are capsules, and are in powdered form. I've not been taking them more than a week so far, but assume the benefits are for longer term usage, and if they do provide pain relief over time, I'll update this review. I have noticed that once I opened the bottle, ugh, super fish smell...and it was a turn-off, but, after taking these, I don't have any fish burps, so it's more of an observation of first contact, but won't stop me from finishing the entire bottle, especially if it helps clear or prevent inflammation. If you're thinking of taking mussel oil capsules, this brand might be a great place to start, since the price point is right on.

The product itself is great but the fishy smell is over whelming. I don't think I will buy this again just for that reason. The product I was using before trying this one did not have an overwhelming fishy odor when I opened the bottle, It is bad enough that I have to hold my breath til I get the cap back on.
