ASRock MB H310CM-DVS 1151 M-ATX D-Sub/DVI DDR4 Retail - Micro/Mini/Flex-ATX, 90-MXB8K0-A0UAYZ

In view of the dodgy reviews I was a bit sceptical but I needed a the board with 300 chipset to match my i5 CPU and PCI 16 Express graphics card and this was the one. It was new out of the box, although I videoed unboxing just in case. It's an excellent board for the money. I particularly liked the four SATA ports mounted on the back which are out of the way of the PCI Express slot. If you've got a big old double width graphics card they can be a pest. Mine is GTX 1070 and it was simple to fit.

Found myself needing to fix someone's PC. After troubleshooting it became clear the motherboard was the problem.Problem is, it was an old 8th gen intel processor, and the motherboards were basically impossible to find brand new, which I was really hoping for for warranty etc. This was the only one I could find from a reputable brand with the features the PC needed, and arrived brand new and worked straight out the box.Asrock always seem to be the last ones to stop making motherboards to support older processors, and with some of these old processors not even being bad by todays standards for things like 1080p gaming, its a shame that without products like this, a bunch of otherwise usable ewaste would end up in a landfill, and someone would have to fork out 3-500 quid for an equivalent new PC.5 stars for them even offering this product still, 5 stars for the product being exactly what I'd expect for the price point too.

Came 9th Gen ready using it with a i3 9100F CPU and Verbatim SSD. Could not install Windows 11 had to update the Bios to latest version to enable TPM. I was already prepared for this by downloading the latest Bios from the ASRock site to USB Drive. Installed Windows 11 24H2 with no problems. I also had a 8th Gen CPU just in case so if you want to get this Motherboard make sure you have everything ready. I only give 4 stars as it could be difficult for someone who is not very experienced putting PC'S together.

the GPU slot and both ram slots didn't work making the motherboard useless. unable to get any contact and wasn't even able to return.

Is cheap and basic. But its got a nice UEFI. Remember theres no M.2 or wifi but i knew that going in. I am purely using up old bits i got (i5 9400) a sata SSD 2nd hand power supply and a rtx 3050 gives me a nice 1080p gaming pc. Well happy.

Ordered in the morning with express delivery it was showing 2-4days ETA. Received it very next day. Super fast delivery and great value for that price. Suprised but happy to find sone overclocking options in bios.
