Korky 528MP an excellent choice!
This Korky is far superior to the Fluidmaster 400 model which I replaced. The Fluidmaster was my third and performed poorly from the start. It was loud, could hear it down the hall, and slow. In contrast, the Korky is quicker on the fill and whisper quiet, actually getting quieter with use. I have no complaints except one. Neither the Fluidmaster nor the Korky on max setting, fill my toilet bowl enough to flush my American Standard Cadet III. The first two Fluidmasters did quite well. The Cadet III still flushes very well by adding another quart of water directly into the bowl during flushing via a 4 quart pan. The tank fills to the very top edge of the overflow pipe before the korky shuts off - the way I adjusted it. Leakage from the tank is minimal.Comments on the Korky: It is made better than the Fluidmaster, sturdier. It is far easier to install, in my opinion too. However, it is more difficult to adjust its height to the top of the overflow valve. This requires removal and adjusting the valve's height outside of the tank, then reinstallation. Height adjustment of the valve itself is a snap. I found the instructions quite good.If anyone has a solution to the Cadet III, please tell me. All my tank compartment components are in good shape. I've scrubbed the toilet outflow tube in the top of the bowl and keep it clean. The bowl just does not fill up anymore - when new in 2008, the bowl filled to fully half or more - now only about one third. I suspect that the valve manufacturers have reduced the rate of water flow to the bowl to save a bit of water. In sum, I'm very happy with the Korky 528 MP, and will buy another when needed. I'm finished with Fluidmaster.

Easy to install. just read the directions.
I ordered the fill valve to replace and old one.. It is very easy to install. It works great. The only reason I needed a new one is the fact that I have hard water. I like how this one works. So, I ordered another. I might add, it is very quiet. For the price you can't go wrong.. This works much better than having the float ball.

Great product and easy to install
I sporadically heard my toilet leaking water and knew I needed to replace the toilet valve or pay a big water bill. I had always procrastinated replacing it because it's a pain and causes a water mess. Boy has that changed now with the new and improved Korky easy valve. I literally had the toilet drained, the old rusty valve out, and the new Korky valve installed and working in less than 10 minutes. I was actually able to hand tighten the bottom fastener on the new valve and reinstall the water line with very little water mess and zero leaking from the new valve. Very quiet and works perfectly. Two thumbs up!

Easy to install toilet tank valve. Works well.
Easy to install, before installation you need to adjust the height of the valve, lock it into place, then install it into the tank at the correct angle. As long as you have it locked before you install it, it is easy. This type of valve seems to wear out frequently, if you notice water movement in the toilet bowl, remove the lid off the tank, and notice then notice the water level is so high that it is going down the overflow, it is time to replace the valve, even if you move the valve setting back down, the valve itself will creep back up to the higher level.

Easy Install
So far so good. Seems to work well. Only time will tell. I've replaced both bathrooms in the last three years twice with fluid master and only lasted a year each time. The float sticks and the toilet won't fill up. Im giving Dory a try in both bathrooms now. No more fluid master junk.

Flabbergasted!!
This review is 9 years late, but I couldn't resist reporting my experience with this item. I purchased my first one 9 years ago and a second one 7 years ago. They were easy to install and have worked flawlessly ever since...that is until last week when both started to make a quiet hissing sound. I assumed the problem was leaking valves. Noteworthy, a few days earlier we lost water pressure for several hours due to a water main break. So, I assumed I would need to replace both units. But wait! By reviewing the videos for this item, I discovered the existence of a youtube video (posted by Korky) which gave servicing instructions. I watch the video and a half hour later, I had disassembled, cleaned and reassembled both units. Problem solved. What a company!! I really am flabbergasted. What other company do you know that would rather have you fix their product when they could have just as easily let you buy new ones?? If I could award them six stars I would do so.

Longevity is a problem
This was an easy install however 2 1/2 years later I’m am finding III need to replace it.The fill valve has started making noises and spraying water up into the lid top now and water runs under the lid and down the back of the tank.On a personal note - I really am tired of manufacturers selling two products instead of one solidly made. They offer another one for 50% more that or advertised as 2x lifespan. Why?
