It's easy to install and can be adjusted via a programmed correction factor to precisely adjust the flow rate for your fluid and your pump. Out of the box, mine was within .2 gallons on a 30 gallon fill. I'll fine tune it later. It activates automatically when fuel starts flowing, and can also be started by pushing either button. pressing the reset button will start it at 0.00, or you can press the other button or let it autostart to keep a running tally when filling multiple tanks if you take a break in between. I gave it 3 stars for "easy to read" as the screen is quite reflective and the numbers are small - but it's a very usable display. Just don't expect to read it from 15 ft away under a wide range of light conditions. The interface is simple and pretty intuitive. The biggest challenge you'll find will be resetting to read in gallons. Edit: I've read a couple more reviews and noted complaints that it "leaks" and one where the person installing it broke the outlet fitting. It's important to understand that it's aluminum, not cast iron, and you need to keep that in mind when assembling it, especially when you are trying to "clock" it to a certain position to read the meter. If you over do it beyond what it needs to a) seal, and b) not turn under the weight of a hose, filter, etc you certainly could break it. So be pruident when installing it.

This flow meter seems to function correctly but there is a major issue with the threads (1"MPT) " Despite numerous attempts to get these to seal up they continued to leak. (We tried one, it leaked, returned and ordered another, same problem) It appears the threads are straight cut like a European thread (BSP) instead of a tapered thread like US standard NPT. These meters are unusable.

I've used this pump a few times now for waste oil and works like a champ. Great little pump so far.

This meter worked for about 2 weeks after I installed it, and has not worked properly since. At first it would only display liters and not gallons, but now it is completely dead. Hopefully they will honor their product and send a replacement.

Bought this for gravity gasoline tank. in the description it does say for gasoline but when the product arrived it clearly says for use only with diseal and kerosene. DO NOT USE with gasoline, water, diesel ??? So i did a test to see if it would at least be accurate with calculating water and it was pretty spot on. took a one gal jug, filled it up and poured it through and came out to .97 Im going to use it. may need to ground it somehow. but seems durable also. I'm pleased

I installed this flow meter on transfer tank being used to fill equipment on our ranch. Very pleased to now be able to verify how much fuel used by each machine. I don't know why it took me this long.

it work once then quit working have no paper work to send it back help

Didn't even get to try it out properly. Had my hired hand install it and the housing cracked. The housing is thing aluminum and weak be careful not to overtighten if you order this product.
