Big Suitcase That Glides Effortlessly!
For all the important features - these are great suitcases. Security - CHECK. Sturdy - CHECK. Rolling - CHECK. Roomy - CHECK. We bought two of these suitcases, one in red and one in blue. They don't just roll - they omni-directional gliiiiiiiide. As in smooth as silk and effortless movement, even if they are stuffed to the gills. I have problems with sciatica and back pain, and there was no problem whatsoever with moving one of these S'Cure Spinners. And speaking of stuffing, you can really fit a lot into one of these 28" suitcases. And they are sturdy. At least so far - they've been on two round trips each with no problem. The center combo lock is easy to set and it's easy to change the combination. In addition, each side has a locking mechanism. So even if, for some reason, the center hasn't been properly closed, the side locks keep the suitcase from opening accidentally. All locks are recessed. All handles are recessed. The only negative I have with this luggage is that we're used to using a luggage strap, and you can't thread the luggage strap under the recessed handle, as we can with our old suitcases. BUT, given the extra side locks on the S'Cure Spinners, a luggage strap isn't really needed as an extra precaution anyway. When you open the suitcase, you'll see that one side has a full fabric cover. You open it with a zip that goes around 3 sides. The other side of the suitcase has a set of X-shaped straps to hold larger items in. It wasn't a negative for us, but just in case, I'll mention that there is no lining to this suitcase. Inside, it is just the bare polypropylene. It doesn't mean a hoot to us. We tend to use our suitcases for a looooooong time before buying new ones, and the problem with fabric linings is that they don't last as long as the rest of the suitcase. So not having a fabric lining may not look as pretty in the beginning, but has no effect whatsoever on how well the suitcase works. I've attached a photo giving you an idea of how the inside of the suitcase looks. Very happy with our suitcases. Happy Reader

Really good quality
I waited almost 2 years to review, used the luggage as carry on for more than 5 international and 6 domestic flights. It’s held up pretty well. Not really scratch resistant as you can see from the photos, but it is plastic, so you can’t really see the scratches unless you were looking for it. It fits the EU carry on size and does not stretch, so no worries about unexpected charges at the gate. It’s designed really well, the rollers are smooth and the handle feels sturdy, functions just like a suitcase should. The latch instead of zipper is perfect. Only one side of the inside is lined, the other is just straps.

The best Samsonite makes
This is a very high quality piece of luggage at a very reasonable price, made in Europe (Belgium) and there is nothing on the US market from Samsonite to rival it. To the folks who have experienced damage by your favorite carriers, you are correct in that Samsonite USA will (oddly) not service or warranty this piece. Reach out to Samsonite UK and they should hook you up with replacement parts. Are you rolling the dice in the US, should you ever need replacement parts? A bit, yes. But it is absolutely worth it for a suitcase of this calibre. I hope we can always get them delivered to the US from Amazon! And if something catastrophic were to happen to this piece where even Samsonite UK couldn't make it right, you can buy 5 or 6 of these for the price of one luxury piece of Tumi or other such esteemed brand... that's kind of a no-brainer to me.

Only brand we buy
Arrived before the expected date, was shipped in a tough package, no way would it impact the inside item. Five stars for that! Suitcase looks great, thought it would be sort of small(28”) but not really, it’s a good size for any travel. Compared with a 31” we have and they aren’t far apart visually. It is lightweight, easily rollable, the shell seems flexible, will see how it holds up over seasons. I am an avid Samsonite buyer so this product should be great as well. Overall, we are happy with the purchase.

My favorite bag - ever
I travel a ton and this is my favorite bag that I have ever owned. I love that it is minimalistic. There is nothing fancy about this bag, but that allows for maximum usage of the interior space. The full plastic case makes it easy to clean inside and out. This is also one of the lightest bags for the size and strength that I have ever had. When you have a limited amount of weight, why give it up to the bag itself? I have purchased both the Medium and Large bag. Most days I prefer traveling with the medium bag 24" as it is plenty big for a multiple week trip.

Nice luggage, poor Samsonite Customer Service in the US, great Customer Service from the UK!
UPDATE: After a recent trip to Athens I incurred damage to two of the wheel assemblies which made it horrible to wheel around in the airport. I contacted Samsonite USA by e-mail and phone and they don't have parts available for the "S'Cure" series. It seemed like Samsonite didn't give a rats ass. Their USA customer service was horrible. Then I found a Samsonite UK website, contacted it and within a week I had replacement parts. Now I can continue using this bag for the trips I have planned for this year. A big shout out to the UK and their European counterparts making this happen. As for the US Samsonite team...big disappointment! I've traveled from Cyprus to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia with this suitcase. Although initially worried about "other" reviews, it has performed well throughout my travels. It is lightweight which is great for packing more gear, the combo lock is very easy to use/change, and its just a nice piece of luggage that stands out when you're collecting it at the baggage claim area. The larger size allows for a good amount of clothing as does the right side. The side that has the enclosure rather than straps doesn't secure your clothes well and if your bag is not "full" then it allows for free movement of your materials during travel. I wish it also included straps to hold your clothing/materials in place. Other than that it is a very functional and lightweight suitcase, easy to use and get around with.

Awesome cases
It is Samsonite.. what more to add?!? We had three of the same style (European), and when we returned home from foreign assignment, TSA at Houston airport arrival broke the lock before it was put on the carousel.... Dumb A#$! We had these cases for well over 10 years and they are just perfect. Went ahead and ordered three more.... Would certainly recommend Samsonite.... they are exceptionally built.

Perfect for 4 day trips.
This is one of my 4 travel bags that I use. This is perfect for a 4 to maybe 5 day trip, depending on what you pack. The selling feature for me was the hard care, and the claps instead of sipper closing. This fits all European airline carry on requirements. The shell is very durable, and the handle is stable with not "rattling" when used. The quad rollers is a plus, and with them having double wheels on each roller assembly, it doesn't get hung up on things like tile grout or the airport bridge seams, if you travel a lot, you know what I mean. Over all great as a solo piece or an addition to your carry on.
