This was my first brass anything for my Trx4 so the climbing improvement, at least for me, was negligible.I didn't bother weighing it, as I don't care if the weight isn't as advertised. I just wanted my servo mounted forward.The mount fit to my bumper no problem; no trimming, no enlarging holes, no anything negative really.My servo horn, when mounted in the stock location (forward), was a tooth off center. On this mount (rearward) it's right on the money, which is great for my OCD.Mounting a servo to this brings to light the only issue I've found and it's a Traxxas thing, the mount is not to blame: You can't set steering endpoints with the servo reversed. At least not with the stock radio.As long as you keep this in mind, this mount is pretty much perfect.

Pretty easy to install. If you remove the old one, just do the opposite to install the new one. Screw holes do not line up all the way. Had to file down some of the metal where it meets the end of the frame.

It took a little bit of work to make it fit perfectly but it was worth it. The extra weight and servo relocation helped tremendously. It handles way better than before with just that addition. I added this to my TRX4 Defender, it required filing just a small amount from the front of the frame rails to get it to sit flush. It also requires you to flip the servo input on your controller. If you look up how to do it it's very simple to do. I would recommend this

This is an exact fit for my TRX-4. It fits and with some small adjustments it works perfectly. You'll have to reprogram center of the servo and I'm pretty sure I had to reverse the servo. All very simple adjustments on the stock traxxas transmitter. My only criticism is that I would have liked the servo mounting surfaces to be about an 1/8" more rearward as to limit bump steer as much as possible so the steering parts were in the straightest possible configuration. But for the price it worked as expected great product.

Very well machined. Good amount of weight by itself and allows you to move the weight of the servo forward also. Good product. My bother has bought 5 of them for all his trx4s and trx6
