Well I originally gave this a 4* as I hadn’t opened it!! It wasn’t needed immediately as we had a summer duvet on. However today I thought I would check it out. It’s beautiful. It has a high quality cotton/ material ( striped) outer . The type you would expect on an expensive duvet . It feels light yet warm. Will definitely be using these on our other beds . Well worth the money.

Not the most inexpensive of quilts but the quality is superb. This has been bought to follow on from a previous Silentnight quilt purchase as I don't think you can do better at this price point.It's lightweight, easily handled and feels really nice to handle. It has an understated design, which I would imagine caters to those who don't use a cover, which is a smart design touch. The weight of the thing is just right, not too light nor too heavy, but the most important thing is how it works.....it keeps you warm, but not overly so, unlike some quilts which feel like a blanket. This is light enough to move around the bed in use but heavy enough to keep you very snug.

Comfy and feels great although when I received my duvet there was loads of loose threads at the stitching was quite bad to be fair
