Large and Well-Constructed
Reviewing the ASR Offroad Kinetic Recovery Rope - 1" x 20' (33,500 lb MTS), White. I haven't used it yet, but it appears substantial and well-made. I can't rate its durability because it's new. I intend it for emergency use, so its size for storage in my 4Runner was a consideration. Under tension it would be about an inch in diameter, but when relaxed it's more like an inch and a quarter or more.

I wish I had Pics of this when I pulled out a 18 wheeler from a snow bank.
I'm very impressed with this rope. We had a big truck make a wrong turn and get stuck in my sons neighborhood in a snow drift and blocked the whole road. I hood on to him with my 2500 Dodge diesel and hit it hard and was able to pull him out of the snow drift. the rope worked wonderful!

This rope is stronger than it’s rated for sure .
Used it once to pull out a stuck jeep buried deep in the sand , with no problems. My truck is a 2500 ram Diesel that weighs 7500 pounds. I also used it to pull out of 7 1/2 ton Toyota forklift stuck in the mud with a 20 pound tandem axle dump truck . I doubled the rope up and it yank that Toyota forklift with no damage to the rope . This thing rocks ,

Heavy Duty Recovery Rope
We haven't had the need to use it, but my husband was very excited to have it as a part of his tool collection. I'm sure at some point it will serve it's purpose, living out on gravel roads with gravel driveways in the New England weather. Give us Winter season and we'll get back to you on how well it performed.

Absolutely fantastic product!
If you are looking for a recovery strap and aren't sure whether the kinetic ropes are worth the extra cost, I can assure you.... they are! I have only used mine (this and a 3/4" x 20') a few times thus far, but they are amazingly handy - particularly when a recovery situation seems "hopeless" with a normal strap or chain or on extremely slippery/treacherous surfaces such as glare ice or sand.

Decent enough. Has pulled a few trucks out at the beach without breaking. No stretch or kinetic action however.
