I would replace them with the same 👍.
This is the third pair I have owned, and use them all day every day. Fantastic value for money. I have a dairy farm and would not be without them. 👍

Good
Reduces noice really well when music/radio is playing. Reception +/- !!! There are few channels that are consistently clear. Moving a couple of feet or sometimes even moving your head causes static... *When plugged in to your smartphone eg for playing music, they simply work as headphones, meaning they don't use battery power. That's good. Downside: volume control is then located on your device...

OVER PRICED
As these Radio Headphones were 3M and expensive I was expecting quality. Sadly not impressed, just shows expensive is not always best. Sound Quality - Average Comfort - Poor Usability - Crap, would have been better with a digital readout. So you could see the stations you were trying to find. Feelings Overhaul - Feeling Ripped off.

Better than expected! Excellent buy for the price! I was looking for something for bus and (especially) airplane rides. I find my ears numbed by noisy engines - particularly on the small planes - and figure I'm better safe than sorry. I have a more expensive pair of noise blocking headphones and wish I'd found these first. These cushions fit better over my ears (I have trouble finding a good fit) which makes the noise blocking is more effective. I didn't want blutooth or any fancy features - I use the other pair every day and they get beat up in transit - so was looking for a price point where I could afford to buy a new pair. First impressions are that they are sturdy, comfortable, and do a good job blocking outside noise. They greatly reduce engine noise when you are sitting over the wing, and listening to the news during bus rides is handy. For practicality, these get full points. I can't speak to power consumption but a fully charged set of AAs have lasted over 24 hours and, honestly, that will probably depend on the type and age of the batteries. What I do like is that they use AA batteries that can be replaced easily and you can carry spares to swap out if you run out of power on the road. Unlike devices with built-in batteries, these might still be usable 3 years from now. Not really fair comparing these to ipods, but these have some serious advantages. Furthermore, they have detachable cables to reduce clutter (I replaced the one that came with it for a retractable pair), and well mounted radio controls that can be reached without having to take them off. Some folks have complained about the tuner. I thought it was good - you turn the knob and a voice reads out the current frequency. If you are far off the station that you want, give it a few full turns; if you are close to the station that you want, just give it a few clicks. One unexpected bonus - they are pretty warm while standing at the bus stop on 5C mornings. That may backfire in the summer but since we are moving towards winter, I'm looking forward to using them as earmuffs! Two complaints: 1) if you plug anything into the headphone jack, the radio switches over - even if you turn off the player. It would be better if the "MODE" button let you toggle between sources. Having to disconnect and store the headphone cable somewhere is a nuisance. 2) The yellow colour works great if you are in construction, but is a bit too visible for casual day wear. Some styling other colour options (even plain black or grey) would open these up to a wider market. Overall, these fit my needs and price point really well. Unless they turn out to break easily or stop working for no reason, I'll give these 5 stars!

I bought my first pair at Lowe's, and it lasted for over 5 years. I looked to replace i,t and I found it on here for a lower price. It fits perfectly on my head and I can wear a baseball cap or a knit cap. The sound quality is great and the battery life is long. I think I may change the batteries once a year. It serves its function for me when working outside since I don't want to keep my phone with me when cutting grass or using power tools. I

The FM reception matches the abilities of my best radio which has a much longer antenna. It beats all of my smaller radios in FM reception. It works fine in my mostly underground basement (which does have some windows) even listening to stations as far as 40 miles away. The AM reception is not as good. It can only pull in AM stations 15 miles away or less. The AM stations in my area are not very strong but my other radios can still pull in more AM stations. The antenna works best when out and not tucked away in hat mode (though the hat feature is fine for closer stations). The sound quality is fine for casual listening and as good or better than most headphones in this price range. Be sure to adjust the bass boost to the level you like and for the fidelity you want. I listen to news, classical music, rock, hip-hop, folk, and pop on these. The voice assist station announcer helps a lot and saves me from having to fiddle around making sure I have the right station. A problem is that it announces the station at too high a volume. I wish it would announce at the same volume I have the radio set at. My work-around is that I turn it on and wait for the voice assist to announce before putting them on. But if I change the station while I'm wearing them, or I need help with knowing the station, I have to listen to it. The hearing protection is the same as most decent quality sets of ear covers. They work well, making a good seal -- and I have pretty big ears. Overall, I'm really glad I bought these. Update after using these for a month: The battery life is excellent. A design flaw is that the volume knob is often turned up by any collar I'm wearing rubbing against it. I either have to zip jackets all the way up to my chin or tuck the collar in -- not always a comfortable solution. I wish the volume knob were higher up and not toward the bottom. Like most ear covers of this design, I am unable to wear any kind of glasses or eye protection, that have temples, for more than 20 minutes without experiencing discomfort in my temples or headaches from the added pressure. I can use goggles that have elastic straps okay. And without glasses this headset can be worn for hours comfortably. I wore these shoveling snow in a windy snowstorm and they held up great despite getting pretty wet and icy. Overall, I'm even happier I bought this now that I've used it for a while.
