Exploring Ethics: An Introductory Anthology Paperback – Import, 13 March 2008

Very good anthology for ethics.

Got this book in decent time. It was a lot cheaper than all other alternatives by atleast $15. The book was in great condition. It seemed like a completely new book except there were certain things highlighted in some of the chapters (which I didn't mind). Also, this was the 2009 edition when I required the 2011 edition. Not much difference though, content remained the same.

Ethics can be very dry reading, but the way this book is organized helped me understand theories from centuries past. Some chapters seem wordy and confusing, but the next chapter usually would help explain the previous more in depth. I love that multiple views of a subject are side by side making it convenient to compare those chapters, and reach one's own differing view point. I recommend using the fantastic online study help provided with this book because it also helped me ace my exams. I found the intro summaries for each chapter helpful by summing up what the reading should convey. However, I wish the questions located at the chapters conclusion were answered, and explained.

My husband needed this for College. He likes it (doesn't love it though). He says it covers the major points, is a very useful textbook and he has lots of stuff highlighted in it. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is very expensive - pverpriced in our opinion, as most textbooks seem to be.

This book has a lot of useful information, as well as examples to make sure you truly understand the subject. With this book, i earned a grade of A with a 102% only reading this book to prepare for my exams.

Great condition. Would not have purchased if I didn't need for a class, but it serves its purpose well. Aside from it being a little tedious, it's very interesting. One 178 word sentence had me quite confused, but I'm told most old philosophers wrote that way.

I love this book. I think it is great and full of tons of information that anyone interested in ethics will like. Yes, some of this book is dry and a bit tough to understand but for the most part the information is readable and well worth it!

Needed for a college Ethics class. Some essays were well written, while others were harder to follow

Really leaves you thinking about the best action one could take while being morally justified but also may not be the best course of action. One must not compromise, but adjust for the better.

Ok book, however it can get rather difficult to understand at times and its basically the same as the third edition

Book was in great condition, also a good read even though it was for school.
