You explore how mindfulness impacts your brain functioning and adds to your healthy best self development. How Altman gives specifics re: context is important. Work, home, play, parenting, etc., exact applications are delivered. Better yet, he tells you how to employ habit-building experiences to make mindfulness an enjoyable routine part of your day.What I love best about this book is its practicality and especially its experiential parts. It is a melding of the science of positive psychology and mindfulness. You can't get better life learning that that! His workbook format is terrific. You fill in the blanks re: what is relevant for you. Very easy to navigate and appreciate.You will also find meaningful solutions for personal as well as professional conundrums. Even how to use mindfulness for Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Extremely relevant, mind expanding, and a cornucopia of neuro-science nuance.Learn how to live in your non-judgmental mind. Create more happiness, fulfillment, and awareness that it is YOUR life and you live it well!"Positively Mindful" is a great gift for anyone who wants a terrific, meaningful, new knowledge read. It is joy of fill-in-the-blank learning re: how to focus on a cool new way to create a happier and more rewarding life NOW!
