Makes The Job Easy
Although one could easily just splice the cables together using wire nuts, this little device takes all the guess work out of connecting multiple runs for the LED under cabinet lights. There is no need to be concerned about polarity. It's just "plug and play." The distribution block has several mini power jacks on common buses. Plug the power supply into one of the jacks and all the other cables into the other, remaining jacks. There are six jacks on the strip. One jack will be used by the power supply, so there is a maximum of 5 remaining power connection jacks. In my installation, I had seven cable runs to my lights. All that is needed is a second distribution block and a jumper to connect the last power jack to the first jack on the second distribution block. That gave me 5 more power jacks.I would like to see the distribution block a bit more beefy. It is small and accommodates all the cables well, however, it is a little problematic trying to keep everything straight and orderly. If the block was on a wider and thicker substrate, it would be better. Overall, however, this is a wonderful solution to a potentially messy problem. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for connecting under-cabinet LED lights in parallel
I purchased this to use with a set of under-cabinet lights because I needed some lights on either side of my built-in microwave. Check out the photos to show my setup using the distribution block. With this distribution block, you can connect the lights in parallel instead of in series.I used this with B-right 12-inch Under Cabinet Light ASIN: B01I51P97Y B-right 12-inch Under Cabinet Light, LED Under Counter Light with Switch Control, 48W Fluorescent Tube Equivalent, 6 Panels Kit, 1800lm, Total of 24W, 3000K Warm White, LED Closet Lighting

Distribution block provides extra flexibility for the installation
The Inspired LED lighting system couldn't be easier to use. Just mount fixtures and clamps as needed and plug in. The distribution block lets me route cables to five light strips underneath kitchen wall cabinets, going in two directions. Inexpensive and great lighting for a kitchen. Simple to install. The low profile of the light strips makes it easy to put them almost anywhere. The warm white lights I previously purchased look great and put out a lot of light. Great products.

Great add on for Inspired LED lights
This is tiny, and tucks in out of sight anywhere you want to put it. It is light enough that the adhesive pads will mount it just fine, but it also comes with screws if you want to mount it securely. I'm only using 3 of the outlets (1 in, 2 out), as the lights daisy chain very easily, but I liked the format of this one better than the 1-in, 2-out version they offer.

Terrible Flawed Design in a nice LED System -- Does NOT Establish a Solid Electrical Connection!
I installed the Inspired LED system in our kitchen in 2012. Recently the system dimmed and then went out. At first I thought that the power supply had failed, but after further trouble-shooting, I finally determined that the distribution block was the issue. If you wiggled the plugs into the dist block they began to flicker. So I ordered a new distribution block, installed it, and the new one did the exact same thing!! Terrible flawed design!! I returned the new dist block and I simply cut the two wires going into each plug, and wire nutted them together for a solid connection. I recommend you do this -- I really like this LED system, EXCEPT this is a weak link in the kit. If you look closely, there is tiny white lettering on one of each of the two wires. It may or may not make any difference, but I was careful to wire the marked wires together, and then wired the unmarked wires together. Removing the distribution block from the system eliminates connection problems which will probably occur sooner or later with this poorly designed distribution block.

Must have
Worked well with lighting system bought they go with. Was bit concerned at first how small block was that there wasn’t any extra material to make it sturdy, but no need nice slim profile.

Kinda pricey for what it is but if you have a lighting project that requires it...you need it, and it works!
Seems like it is going to break when you pick it up.....but it works as advertised and it's not like you are gonna use it like a prybar or hammer (that would be a really bad idea). It works!
