Best gift ever! The soft leather cover is so nice. There is a satin ribbon book mark and section where you can journal inside the book. Its deep purple and the leather is superb! Oh, and the wordings from Mrs. Obama are inspiring.

There are quotes from M. Obama throughout the journal/notebook and ample blank pages for personal thoughts after each one of her quotes. There are also personal photographs of Michele and family included. The binding is sturdy and has Michele’s signature on book’s cover. Also includes a yellow ribbon bookmark. Small enough to carry in one’s purse or book bag. Some may be disappointed in size, but perfect for those that like to jot down notes or thoughts while waiting, for example, at dentist or doctor’s office for appointments.I’m very pleased with this notebook and have given as Christmas gifts to my daughter and sister.

Cute thought it would be larger. It’s tiny but inspiring with Mrs. Obama’s motivational advice throughout entire book. Just wished it was as large as the journal which accompanies Becoming Book.
