Essential book for those involved in coordinate system work
This second edition of an already excellent reference is essential to anyone working in datums and projections. I am not aware of another work with the scope and clarity of this text.

This book has great information about coordinate systems and I believe it is the best in this field by its simplified ideas

The book is very good but did not provide me with enough information to ...
The book is very good but did not provide me with enough information to do what I want, namely to convert between WGS84, NAD27, and NAD83. It helped me understand how to do it, and why the steps were needed, but did not provide the essential data - axis lengths and transformation parameters. I will hopefully find this data on the Internet, maybe on the NOAA or OGP sites.
