It does exactly what it’s intended to do. Works fine. My only complaint is the quality of the control box is not very good. Doesn’t seem to be extremely durable

Works perfect with astro a40 extra length and shirt clip * edit update* after use I was experiencing echo because of the cable and the audio is not as loud not ment for astro a40 headset keep looking.

There is a lot of cross talk between game sound and voice chat. Game sound transfers as audio through voice chat. Do not buy.

This replacement cord is excellent. I thought it was too flimsy at first but it worked out great. Mute switch is not cheap feeling and slides easily. You won't be disappointed
