Bad design
I have 3 work van and always used this product for my vans safety. Recently I bought a new Ford Transit 150 and ordered set of safety locks for my new van, unfortunately quality of new locks is not same as older product. After installing this lock I end up to slam my side sliding doors and back loading doors in order to close them properly which is end up damaging the doors light switch and effecting on brand new van doors alignment. Not happy at all 😞

Wasnt easy to install and still is tight on rear doors but I am happy with the added security it provides.

Key breaks too easy as I had to call a locksmith to get the broken key out
I purchased 4 sets for our vans. They went on easy as I have Ford Transit 250's. Two of the keys have broken off trying to get them to release and unlock. The locksmith said that the key was cut to too deep on the very end. anyway ordering another lock.

Latch does not properly fit the rear right door
I used this same kit on a 2004 Ford E50 for over 15 years and it worked well. Now, for my 2023 Ford Transit 150, the rear kit does not fit properly at all. It's too tight when both left and right door latches are installed. So, for now, I have the latch on the left rear door and cannot install the one one the right because the door won't close.I hop the manufacturer of this lock read some of this reviews and correct the issue with their newest locks. I can't return it because I'm past my return date.Edit added:The locks themselves feel very light weight compared to my older kit from 15 years ago.I also added one start because, despite my complain above, I'm still able to use this lock kit. But, I would have still proffered to use the lock in the rear as intended (with the two latches instead of just one).

Excellent product, and suprising customer service.
This order was my second set purchased for my new van. Very happy with the locks, but wanted to review the Seller. After using the locks for just over 6 months, so outside of the warranty period, one of the keys broke off inside the lock and had to be drilled out. I contacted Bird Ladders and they stood behind their sale! Bird sent me new Cores! Absolutely above and beyond, and I thank you!
