There are two similar kinds of pioneer 100 magnetic photo albums - is this the one with the slightly thicker cardboard pages, or the flimsier ones?

I have the same question. The description doesn't say archival quality. I wouldn't trust any adhesive photo album to be archival. Even if the paper and plastic covers are acid and PVC free, what about the adhesive? That's what does the damage, and it can take years for that damage to show up, and then your precious old photos are ruined. I wouldn't take the chance. It takes longer, but for precious old photos I would use archival photo corners, not cheap adhesive albums.
