Product is as advertised. Having read many reviews of similar products, I was worried about the quality, but these were all great in terms of shape, material, and performance. I especially like the light adhesive backing (so you don't have to use any tape). We haven't washed them yet, but they did vacuum up pretty well (tough to vacuum out all the dirt from the ridges, but they look pretty good after just a quick vacuum). My only complaint is that (as adverised) there are just 13 of them, and apparently there is no option to order just a few extra (I have 15 steps). So I had to buy two packages of 13. Rather expensive and wasteful, but I bought the second set anyway....

Love these treads! I needed them for my dog since she was having trouble on the stairs. My husband and I feel more secure as well. They stay put on my hardwood steps without any adhesive tape and they are of a better quality than some of the other carpet treads on the market. I am very glad I made this purchase and recommend them. Originally I wanted the brown since the pictures looked like they would blend to match the wood color but the reviews indicated they were much darker and I knew I wouldn’t like it. I ordered the dark gray and I am very happy with the color.

We had another cheaper brand and compared to these, they were garbage. The edges would unravel, the bottom turned to dust. These ones are much higher quality with edges that won't fray. The bottom have a semi-tacky feel to them (not an adhesive, but like a grippy rubbery feel). Simply peal off the clear film and press down; couldn't be easier. I used a laser-level to align all their edges. I was skeptical of them staying, but after a week now, then haven't moved, so seem good. Haven't tried to clean yet, but I suspect they will lift up with the vacuum suction. The reason for 4 stars is the price. $100 for what really should be a product for half that IMHO; it's a little rug, not electronics, not complicated to make. I just don't see how they justify that price. Having said that, I do recommend them, in fact, I ordered another set for our other stairs.

A marvelous product that has made many people comment regarding how safe they feel on the stairs. The stairs of wood are 15 steps and since installation they have not moved and provide a firm footing. Additionally, they stick with absolute certainty and since I have placed them on the stairs they have not moved at all.One issue that has come up is that when a dog scampers up or down their nails, on their paws, creates a 'pull of thread' which requires a cut to keep the surface smooth. The pull of thread and the cut results in a loss of a small part of the rug; and I can see that over time this may result in areas lacking thread or being bare. Rarely happens but necessitates cuting the exposed thread to ensure the rug is smooth.Well worth the price and a remarkable addition to safety on stairs going up or going down.

Bought these for an elderly dog to have more stability going up and down the stairs. Non-slip, easy to install and clean. Very effective for the issue I wanted to solve.

These installed well, looked nice and clean up well but have literally shredded with very visible runs in the stitching within a few weeks. We purchased them months ago and waited until our renovation was completed before installing, wish we were still in the return window. Terrible quality

These were a must for our hardwood steps, which were slippery.Adhesion is remarkable. There's no tape, per se. You remove a protective layer from the bottom of the step and put it in place - and these stay where you put them, although removal for repositioning or replacement is a snap!These enhance the appearance of the staircase and are highly recommended!

I installed these stair treads about two months ago and unfortunately they do not hold up as expected. The description says they can be vacuumed easily, but the pilling is so bad. I hosted guests on Christmas and I was so embarrassed, I literally had to trim the hairs off the stair treads. It’s too bad because they are so easy to install and they do stay in place.

I bought these treads for basement stairs that dogs were afraid to go up and down on. They are the perfect solution, easy to install and after one month, they have not moved or shifted. After a few days, our dogs (one 14 lbs and one 60 lbs) were able to go up and down the stairs without any hesitation.

Our 13 year old dog was having more trouble with the slippery oak stairs. I was a little concerned as to whether or not the treads would stay in place but they do and really well.They have been down for about a month and I’m really impressed!Great product
