I will give it another try
I was not satisfied with my original purchase but the vendor reached out to me and was very helpful. I'll give this product another try.

ONE OF BETTER MANUKAS I'VE TRIED, BUT PRICE KEEPS INCREASING
This is one of the better Manukas I've tried. I've tried several. The price keeps going up though, and it's getting to a point where I may have to go with a less expensive alternative. I have also put it on cuts and they do heal. I know you can buy a medical product for that, but I have heard people rave on the benefits of Manuka, and I think they must be right. The difference with this Manuka and others I've tried is it seems to almost have a thicker consistency and a darker coloration. Since I do not know much on the processing, I cannot offer any expertise. I can only state what I saw when taking it out of the container.

great medicinal for wounds
My dog had to have an extensive surgery to remove a tumor from his leg that has left a large open wound that had started out with being able to see the tendons and that we needed to do a bandage change daily until it heals (vet said 3-6 weeks!). Vet stated that we are to slather it with honey before wrapping with the bandage. I had some Manuka honey with a 5+ value and started the wound with that but knew I didn't have enough for a month or more. I found this honey on Amazon and ordered it. His wound was improving with the 5+ but we started with this 15+ as soon as it arrived. It is healing so nicely and each day we see major improvement. In only a weeks time the wound has shrunk considerably. I would recommend this to anyone who has a wound that needs attention. Oh, and it tastes wonderful - it also has a great consistency that is firm but spreadable without having to heat it up.

THERAPEUTIC (UMF 15+)
Manuka honey from New Zealand has antibacterial properties that makes it MUCH more potent than other varieties. Manuka honey is produced by bees that pollinate the manuka shrub. A UMF RATING OF 10 OR HIGHER IS CONSIDERED THERAPEUTIC. Manuka honey can heal wounds including some serious ones that don't respond well to conventional treatments. Manuka honey can prevent bacteria from binding to a wound. This particular Manuka honey has a UMF of 15+. It comes from New Zealand's East Cape region where Bill Savage has been proudly tending to his bees for more than four decades.

All I can say is wow! Great medicinal honey!
I love this honey! I use it for my almost 17 year old chihuahua for his CHF cough. I was going to put him to sleep a few months ago because his coug and gasping had gotten so bad. I stumbled across manuka honey and after much research decided to go with this one. All I can say is WOW! Within hours a few days my chihuahua was so much better! His coughing and gassing was about 75% better. When I ran out of this honey I bought another brand that sounded like it would be better. Nope! His cough returned and he was getting weaker so I ordered this brand again and again in a few days he was not coughing much at all. I highly recommend this honey!

Love this!
I always reorder so that I never run out of this. I have been eating manuka honey daily for about 2 years. I haven't been sick at all since starting this. I don't know for sure, but it sure seems that something in this honey keeps you healthy. I have never had a cold, sore throat, or any other illness since eating manuka honey. This brand also tastes great. I only wish they would give some kind of discount to people who buy frequently, or if you bought several at a time. this stuff is magic for me.

Terrible taste and smell
A huge disappointment. I've tried 4 different brands of manuka honey - all ordered from Amazon - and 3 were just fine as expected. Most manuka honeys seem to have great ratings of 4 and half stars - including this one ~ but this one was a little cheaper, so I thought why not try it :-) I really feel I have to flag this one. While most have positive reviews of this honey, I see others mentioned the off smell and taste as plastic, menthol, chemical - to me, both the taste and smell are almost like an insecticide. It isn't edible or usable so has to be thrown out. So, with so many others to choose from, you might want to avoid this one.
