Worth every Penny
The media could not be loaded. Buy it. Buy it yesterday. I used this for my bedroom, in a very unconventional space, because there is literally no wall a TV can be used well. It is so easy to stop on a dime, it goes probably another 2 feet lower than my video shows, but thats all I need for this width. The remote did not come with a wall mount, and does take a weird battery but it came with that. And since I’ve seen reviews about people being concerned with denting on shipment, I Included the packaging as well, the supplier definitely packs it in a way where it should be more than fine. A shipper handler would really have to try to damage this. Mine came flawless. If you dont have an open wall and have literally any obstructions (I.E. my door frames) buy mounting brackets as well, mine were like 11$ here on amazon. This is definitely low profile if directly wall mounted . The screen looks and works great, but honestly I think the picture quality depends WAY more on your projector. No smell, if there is one they suggest airing it out for a few days or returning, and state that this is normal/ common due to the binding of materials used to make the screen. It just is what it is for the screen type. But even if I had had to air it out I would still recommend it. But again, I didnt. Mounting is 93 inches apart and the whole thing is probably 95-96inches wide. And I personally havent trued to sink it to drop with my projector, not sure I even will. The remote is simple enough, and with the door opening in toward the screen, ver unconventional space, probably not wise in my case

Works great, intuitive and easy installation, but the manual is confusing
The media could not be loaded. I really like this projector screen , although the setting-up process took some intuitive working around. The screen within the holding case would have shifted or unravelled a tiny bit during shipment so after I hoisted the projector screen , i had to use the remote control to raise and lower the screen a couple of times while winding it up from the holding encasement in order to get a free flow. It’s a small one-time adjustment. The projector screen came with a manual but the manual said to attach the remote to the back of the projector using a cord that came with the package. There’s no receiver to attach the remote to. But intuitively, I realised that the remote is wireless and the set up was straight forward so the manual was confusing. There’s a socket for an Ethernet cord on the holding case for this screen. I’m not sure what it’s for, the manual didn’t say. Otherwise the screen functions clearly and well.

Excellent screen for cost - additional caution with install
I use this screen for evening/night projection in a room that gets a lot of sun, so it's always retracted when not in use.It was easy to unpackage and hang. The motor is quiet and thus far reliable. The screen itself is of acceptable quality for most home applications, especially at the price point. It is a bit flimsy and plasticky, but it's what I expected.I did have one issue right after hanging and plugging in the unit that warrants a word of caution. The end of the screen shifted within the housing a bit in transit, and the left end of the weight bar was caught inside the housing. I didn't notice it until I started trying to lower the screen the first time. The right side of the screen started coming down, but the left side didn't because it was stuck. I stopped the motor with the remote, but then made an additional mistake of trying to retract it to see if it would right itself. It only twisted and creased the screen material. I manually got it unstuck, and it now works flawlessly, but I now have permanent distortion in that part of the screen. The photo is after trying to correct with heat/hanging/etc. Doesn't affect image quality significantly, but it's a permanent blemish. Even if Akia offered to replace it (I didn't reach out to them to ask), it would be way more hassle to box the thing back up. Ultimately I kinda chalked this problem up to a user accident, and I still give the product a 5-star review overall. Make sure ends of your screen are free before dropping it the first time!

Stopped working. Do NOT recommend.
It will no longer power on. The remote battery has been replaced. I tried to sync the screen motor and remote but it doesn't work.

Outstanding Customer Service
I received the 110 inch motorized screen, installed it and watch a movie right after that. The next day I unplugged the screen to move the power cord to a different outlet then using the remote I attempted to lower the screen and nothing happened. I was more than frustrated after numerous attempts. I called Amazon customer service and was given the number to call the Akia directly. I had only 10 minutes before they closed for the day and told myself that no one was coming to pickup my call at Akia. However to my surprise my call was answered. I told the person one the phone who happen to be a technician my problem. He told me that all I had to do was reset the remote control to work with the screen. If the screen is unplugged for to long the remote losses it setting and will have to be reset. All I had to do is hold the screen up button on the remote while I plugged in the power cord t the outlet. WOW, I give Akia 100 percent for customer service. Recently, I read a few reviews and found out other people gave Akia customer service outstanding reviews. Thank you.
