Keter 237790 Toolbox, Empty, Black

I have two stacks for all my model and electronics tools and supplies. They are perfect for this and using in the house as they are well built but not heavy. Drawers would be a bit shallow for mechanic's tools. I specifically was looking for something that was not too big or heavy, to use indoors, a metal roll cab would be too big and damage the floors, so this is a perfect solution. Even better you can expand by adding a drawer section or two.

Bought this tool box as extra storage for some of my tools. Fits nicely on my workbench. Very light in weight but a solid structure. The drawers are a bit stiff to open but a bit if wd40 on the sliders sorts that problem. Do not be put off by this.

Not as big as they look

Nice product, good price, took a long time to arrive but was a day earlier than indicted initially.

Its okay, I bought this before I bought a few Milwaukee packout drawers. The difference is obviously night and day between this and the Milwaukee drawers. This feels a lot more cheaply made, obviously a lot smaller as well. More than good enough for DIY purposes, it's in my shed and is absolutely fine for that.

Great for what I needed it for

It is what it is. A plastic box with plastic drawers. There are many similar storage boxes like this but they are better quality. It does what it is meant to do but I think it’s heavily overpriced. I have several “Trend” storage units which are very well made and are cheaper but Trend don’t make drawer units which is what I needed. After much deliberation, I opted for Keter being a well known brand and I have purchased Keter products before and found the quality to be good. However, this item seems to be of much lesser quality like a cheap generic storage unit but with a Keter price tag.

Don't be fooled thinking this is the same Keter tool chest that was sold in years passed. While it will latch to the original tool chest the frame is about all that these chest have in common with the original Keter tool trolley. The quality construction and the bearing slides are gone and have been replaced with cheap plastic on plastic slides. I purchased the 3-drawer unit then returned it to purchase this 2-drawer unit that clearly showed the ball-bearing slides in the photos. Again I was fooled so as they say . . . fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice I AM THE FOOL !!! Kudos to Amazon for their excellent customer service! I was not going to waste their money again with returning this unit all the way back to the UK so they gave me 10% off so at least I only paid twice as much as the product is worth. BTW I have contacted Keter no less than 3 times concerning this product and I have never heard so much as a peep from anyone there.

A fine product, I use two sets on top of each other onderneath a table.
