Helly Hansen Women's W Aden Insulated Coat

This is my 2nd HH shell jacket. My previous one is 6 years old and is like new. I ordered this one to have one in a different colour. They are warm but breathable and lightweight and a great all-rounder. I have not owned a better jacket when it comes to comfort, fit, longevity, style and practicality. They hold out the wet very well too. I highly recommend it. This exact jacket was on sale in a high street shop for €280 last week so its an absolute bargain here.

Have been wanting to buy this jacket for a while and finally did, Really impressed with the quality, it's light to wear and breathable. I ordered a XXL and the fit is spot on, would not want it any bigger or smaller. Have been out in the rain and I have stayed dry with no leaks into pockets or zipped areas. Would buy again and definitely recommend

Both functional and stylish. Having owned many Helly Hansen items since the late 90's (a HH fleece I owned lasted 13 winters), the crew mid-layer jacket possess the same quality that I've come to expect from a manufacturer that produces items fit to handle the elements. Since the UK winter of 2017/18 has probably been the harshest in recent memory, the jacket has routinely kept me warm throughout, most notably while trudging to work through the snow as the Beast from the East made paid a visit, courtesy of the polartec inner fleece lining. Even with a wind chill of -10C (remember that Thursday?), nothing got through, thus, ensuring that my upper torso remained warm and toasty during the 6 mile round-trip between home and work. On those occasions that winter weather hasn't been so inclement, due to the heavy duty fleece lining, simply wearing a t-shirt beneath the jacket has ensured sufficient warmth, even becoming a little too warm when frequenting shopping centres. Since the jacket is included within HH's sailing line, designed to withstand heavy and frequent ocean spray, even torrential rain isn't an issue, as it has remained water-proof. Simply give the arms and torso a good shake and rain water simply disappears from the outer water repellent material. The intricate detailing and overall design is also truly superb. From crisp HH logos on the upper arms, left rear shoulder and sleeve, to the heavy duty zips that secure the deep, fleece-lined pockets, the jacket simply embodies the stylish, yet functional quality, that I've grown to expect of HH. Since I expect value for money, I very rarely purchase 'fashion' items. However, since I've found Helly Hansen apparel to routinely provide a perfect blend between style and function, if an item catches my eye, I'll happily part with my hard earned cash.

Arrived on time, well packaged and size was correct. However, within a week the zip started playing up on the Brest pocket and the right hand pocket inner lining started to come unstitched. Luckily I live in a town where there are seamstresses on every corner. Other than the small repair work I had to have done so soon after purchase it is a very good jacket, lightweight yet warm. I'm 5 foot 9inches and 14 stone (semi muscular but not out of shape ) and it fits almost perfectly. The arms are about an inch long but nothing can be 100% perfect on everyone. Would recommend and purchase again

I absolutely love this jacket. Initially I bought it for the summer, but soon realised that this version with the padding inside was too warm. So that now is my winter jacket. Loved it that much that I bought a black version without the midlayer (same price) but that is perfect for spring/summer. I am not a boater, but I can imaging how cool it would be to use it on a boat trip. But for everyday use it's awesome and looks amazing. I'm an XL, but I bought the XXL for the winter version so I can have a jumper underneath.

Great value, waterproof, warm, windproof and great quality! Looking for a jacket that is both waterproof and warm there are very few options out there. This does both perfectly. Highly recommend

Looks great and the quality is very very good. Soft warm liner and water proof outer shell is great. For me, the sleeves are a little long and the back across the lower shoulder is a little tight. I think if you tighten the wrist velcro straps down - the fit in the arms would be great but taking the jacket on and off without releasing the wrist velcro is impossible. I just worry about wearing out the velcro if you are constantly adjusting it. I've worn it with a base layer fleece or sweater and it is definitely warm. I love the style and functionality of the pockets but it can be a little tight fitting...not enough for me to return it but just good for you to know. I am 6 ft 220 wear a 44 long suit jacket and ordered an XL. I think this jacket really is made for sailing in cold weather/water and not necessarily for winter wear. If i were sailing in cold weather and water and needed to keep my core warm and dry with a light mid-layer - this jacket would be 100% perfect. The fit in the sleeves it tight and the seam under the armpit is tight but once the jacket is on you have full unhindered range of motion with your arms which is probably right if you are sailing. This is made for sailing. If you are out in winter weather and needing a warm water repellent jacket I would also recommend. I've gotten many compliments on the style and i do wear it very often.

Die HH-Logos auf Rücken und Ärmel sind bei mir rot und nicht weiß, was mir ehrlich gesagt etwas besser gefallen hätte. Dennoch eine schicke und robuste Jacke zu einem sehr guten Preis.
