The Story of God [Holy Bible]: New International Version (NIV) 927

I've had this bible for 7 years and it's pretty worn out. Something spilled on it and normal wear and tear. It was a gift given to me back then. I have purchased new NIV bible's and I've notice some of the words are different than what is in this NIV one. I like the wording in this one and wish I could find a leather bible with this style of NIV wording. But, it's okay, I purchased two of these and hope to get it soon. I like the style, it's like a story book, like reading a regular book and holds my interest more so than any other bible I've came across. The pricing is good, I just wish it came in leather and not just paperback and also have the thing in the back where you can go to for overcoming life struggles. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for something to read in simple terms, has two columns and the words aren't as tiny as you think. If, they haven't changed the quality on it since I got mine a few years ago. BUt overall this is a great go to bible for anytime. It's not heavy either, it's lightweight if you struggle with arthritis like me. Great Bible. Please don't take this away. As long as you sell it, I can't find it anywhere else, I will buy it when I need another because it is paperback and will get worn out.

I was searching high and low for this exact bible as it is what is used in the bible study I go to every once in a while. I wanted it because the pages are thicker than normal bibles, which is wonderful because I don't feel like I'll rip one every time I turn the page. Also, the thicker pages don't allow the "bleed through" of what's printed on the next page, which eases reading immensely. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

The print is very small. I purchased this for an older friend and she was unable to read the small print. Is there a large print version?

I ordered about 5 of the Bibles to give as gifts, but the writing was way too small, and I actually meant to order only the New Testament in large print. One of the Bibles was in very poor condition and the others were not great, so I ended giving them away to the Thrift Shop.
