The device will play any media ask long as you have an application to open and play it.

Did not work with Windows 10- returned.

The item Comes with a Y USB Cable. The Cable must be plugged into 2 USB Ports for Drive to function. You also need to down load the interactive cd that comes with the item. There also may be an updated driver available on the lenovo website that may need to be down loaded. This item is made for windows 7 as you bought and received 4xa0e97775 which is the current and correct item for the t440s. If you had windows 10 ten you would need to update the driver.
