Here we go, Peeled Tomatoes review.These tomatoes are tomatoes... they're great for sauces and stews and etc. The reason why you want to buy WHOLE peeled tomatoes, as I recently learned, is that the chopped and diced varieties are treated with a chemical that prevents them from breaking down in the can. Subsequently, this chemical also prevents them from breaking down into delicious sauces and stews. If you want to buy canned tomatoes, always buy them whole and peeled. You can always chop or crush them later.I always saw Muir Glen brand at Whole Foods, but really I go for whatever is cheap. Organic doesn't even matter to me that much in the world of canned tomatoes. They are tasty in sauces, a good price, and they arrived at my door in my AmazonFresh order.Go on, get these tomatoes.

I often make marinara sauce or chili at home and have used many different brands of canned tomatoes, but Muir Glen is the highest quality, most consistent and best tasting one I have found.

I realize tomatoes have peels but I still find it so unappealing to find hunks of peels in with tomatoes that are supposed to be peeled. Some brands manage not to include peels so I have to think it's in the processing. Beyond that I found the taste okay not great.

My wife and I are pleased with the quality of this product.

Never had used Amazon Prime before this, but these tomatoes expired in 8 month. Not cool.
