A nice big stainless steel stock pot
Worked well with my induction cooktop I was able to cook a large batch of greens and they turned out really well follow the instructions and wash and treat it first. After cooking the greens with smoked ham shanks for about 4 hours no discoloration nothing pot looks still brand new.

Huge Capacity and Excellent Quality Stockpot
As an avid home chef, I'm always looking for high-quality cookware that can handle large batch cooking. This 12 quart stockpot from Cook N Home definitely fits the bill! I've been really impressed by its performance. The size is absolutely massive with a 12 quart capacity. I've used it for big batches of soups, stews, stocks, boiling pasta, and more. It's big enough to can tomatoes or make huge vats of sauce. Yet the overall stockpot is still a manageable size and weight when full. The stainless steel construction feels extremely sturdy and durable. It has an attractive high polished mirror finish. I also really like the thick aluminum disc layered in the bottom which provides excellent heat conduction and prevents hot spots. The pot heats up quickly and evenly thanks to the tri-ply stainless/aluminum/stainless body. It works great on all cooking surfaces including induction cooktops. I've even used it in the oven without issues since it's oven safe. The snug-fitting vented glass lid is a nice bonus to lock in heat and moisture. The loop handles are designed to stay cool which is helpful when pulling the heavy pot on and off the stovetop. I still use potholders out of habit. My only minor complaint is the pot itself can get a bit heavy when full of liquid or food. But that's to be expected for a stockpot this size.Cleaning is easy - foods don't stick too badly and a little Bar Keeper's Friend keeps the exterior shiny. It's also dishwasher safe which is convenient for such a large pot.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this Cook N Home stockpot! The quality, size and performance are excellent for the price. If you need a big, sturdy stockpot for larger quantity cooking, I highly recommend giving this one a look.

Nice pot but rack has floppy handles.
This large canner pot has worked ok for my purposes, which so far have been processing jam and jelly, mostly 8 to 16 oz. jars, some 4 oz. It holds plenty of jars, more than one batch, and I only make one batch at a time.It is very heavy, especially when full of water. I like that it is stainless steel, has a smooth bottom, and fits on my glass top stove. I add some vinegar to the water to help minimize calcification of the pot, which helps for cleaning. Three things have been tricky. 1. The glass lid fits into the rim of the pot snugly, but when the rack is raised it holds up the lid so it is not not seated as well, just something to be aware of (see photo). 2. The rack, which is very sturdy steel, has handles which are too loose to stay up when it is lowered. The handles flop over on top of the jars, and it is very difficult to get them raised simultaneously out of the boiling water, to be able to grab them with hot pads to pull up the rack. I needed an extra hand. I solved this with strings tied to the handles (see photo). But it would be nice to have a better system. 3. It also would be nice if there were some graduation marks on the inside of the pot so I could more easily monitor and adjust water levels. But overall, compared to my (rusting out) old enamel ware pot this is a very big improvement.

Works on Induction & MUCH better quality than the price might suggest.
This LARGE pot was maybe just a bit bigger (1/4" larger in diameter) than my biggest induction burner, but the huge capacity was perfect for my needs. I honestly was expecting something of lesser quality than the price suggested. The quality was clearly there (my other pots are All-Clad D3, Le Creuset, Staub). The polish, weight and fit of the lid were perfect, and the glass lid unexpectedly fit my huge all-clad saute pan, woo-hoo!. The handles were not as heavy duty as my other brands, but definitely enough to handle the load full pot.It heated at a reasonable speed on my induction burners (not like a single thickness pot--which would translate into scorching) and transferred the heat evenly to the contents based on my observations.I needed something huge for VERY occasional use, and did not want to invest in my usual brands, so this was PERFECT. I was willing to settle a bit b/c my use for this was infrequent, but I am truly pleased with this choice. The only negative I can think of (and it's a small one overall) is that on the OUTSIDE of the pot where the sides turn into the bottom, there is a small ridge--maybe a millimeter or two. This might mean a sauce dripping down the sides could catch there and take an extra minute to clean, but sauce dripping all the way down such a TALL pot unnoticed seems like a rare occurrence to me...I hope this review helps you make up your mind, and I hope you write up your discoveries too--it helps us all.

Good Value, Sturdy
It's hard to find sturdy decent quality stainless steel cookware at a reasonable price. This pot fits the bill. It's much more sturdy than Farberware or Revere ware. We had a set of non-stick pots but the coating sooner or later always seems to start chipping off so I wanted stainless steel. It's nice that the handles have the rubber coating. There's a vent hole in the glass lid. Very nice. There's a review out there that says this is the best budget stock pot on the market and I would have to agree.
