FOREVER SHARP CLASSIC SERIES 12 PIECE SET SURGICAL STAINLESS STEEL

We've been using a forever sharp serrated, bread/carving knife for over 25 years. Recently the blade snapped clean off at the handle for no apparent reason. Damn, it was my favourite kitchen knife. However, clearly they are still being produced, so I bought a set of 12 containing 3 similar knives to the one that broke. So if those last 75 years, I won't even be around to declare the great value that we've had. The other knives in the set are a bonus. Note however that apart from their remarkable cutting ability there's nothing fancy about these knives. They are lightweight, with very ordinary plastic handles but still wonderful utility.

My wife had one of the long versions of these knives given to her by her late mother. She loved the knife because of the lightweight and ergonomic handle design. Unfortunately, the hard plastic handle broke after 20+ years of daily use to cut her morning fruit so I bought her this set for Christmas. Seems just like the original and just as sharp. No regrets so far.

My mom raves about these knives. They’re meant to be “forever sharp” so for those avid cooks you can put your knife sharpener away. It’s really a crucial part of cooking to have knives you can count on and that can slice through anything. I have not personally tried these knives. I have a German cooking knife that I do sharpen so I may need to look more into these. They ended up being a perfect Christmas gift for my mom as she now has an eclectic mix of her favorite knives. Update to come on durability after a duration of usage.

To many duplicates. Who needs 3 of the same large knife? They are sharp.

My parents bought a knife set in a Walmart at least 10 years ago. Still going strong and showing almost no signs of wear. So come time for me to buy knifes, I asked about the brand. Summary: -Inexpensive. About as cheap as a knife set gets. -Great performance. These things cut and cut well. -Durable: Others have said the same thing, these last a long time. My parents are at least 10 years old, maybe 15 years. -Dishwasher safe (I think). Have been putting them in the dish washer with no ill effects yet. My parents didn't however. Personally I do not see a reason to buy any other type of knife. This fits my needs perfectly and does so at a great price.

I purchased a set of knives from Forever Sharp many years ago and loved the product. I used the long serrated edged knife everyday. In addition to being a wonderful bread knife, it worked great on cutting pineapples, tomatoes, etc. A month ago, my knife broke at the handle base. I tried using a similar knife, but there was no comparison, so I ordered another set of the Forever Sharp. It appears to be the same as the original, but the quality and craftsmanship seem inferior. Time will tell if this works as well and holds up as well as my original set.

I was given my first ever sharp knife by my daughter in law. when my house was destroyed during hurricane Katrina. I actually found that knife in the rubble. I took it home and sterilized it. I’m still using it today. It’s as sharp as it was the day I got it. I bought these knives as a gift to my daughter in law because I know she’ll be as happy with them as I am with mine

These knives are great for tomatoes and bread.

I've had one of these big FOREVER SHARP knives for almost 20 years and it truly is FOREVER SHARP. It is my family's go-to knife for everything...bread, slicing tomatoes, meat, etc. Recently I used a hammer on it to slice through a big turnip and the blade has come loose from the handle. Thankfully I found this whole set of FOREVER SHARP knives on Amazon and ordered them right away. They may seem expensive but I would pay this much just to replace my one big knife...it has been so sharp for all these years. I've been using the big new knife for a few weeks now and love it as much as my old one. I highly recommend this product.
