Would this be suitable to put on my face? I have rosacia and get really sore dry patches around my nose.

I have not used on my face - would suggest if you cannot ask your GP, then ask in your Chemist ie Tesco, Boots or Lloyds etc to speak to the pharmacist - they may have a better idea.
