How do you ensure your honey is organic?

Thank you for your question. There are two important criteria for determining the authenticity of organic honey. First, the honeybees that produce the honey cannot have been exposed to antibiotics or any other chemical/medicinal treatments. Second, the vegetation in the area where the honeybees derive nectar (a 3-mile radius) cannot have been exposed to chemical treatments including formulated fertilizers, growth stimulants or pesticide treatments. In addition to these requirements, we've developed procedures to ensure organic honey is never contaminated by any non-organic honey or residue as required by USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP). Quality Assurance International, Inc. (QAI) oversees our processes and audits our facility at least annually. We hope this helps to answer your question.
